Description

SatMap – this program allows you to view, download, cache, glue and link satellite imagery/hybrid/map/landscape with Google Maps services without a ban!

Main functions and features (for now)

1. Import data from the GoogleMV (version 2.7+), GoogleV, EarthSlicer (satellite only), SatMap, SASPlanet, Global Mapper cache;
2. Cache format: 1 cache = 1 file;
3. Up to 100 pluggable caches;
4. Export to cache format GoogleMV, SatMap, SASPLanet, GPSProga, sqlitedb (RMaps, Locus Map, OruxMaps);
5. Search, save and navigate by entered coordinates/place name;
6. Import/export of waypoints and tracks in OziExplorer (*.wpt, *.plt), *.gpx, *.kml formats;
7. Distance Measurement;
8. Data gluing/export in graphic formats JPG, PNG, TIFF, ECW, JPEG2000, MrSID;
9. Geo-referencing in Ozi Explorer, MapInfo, world-file, TomTom overlay formats;
10. Downloading data from the service Google Maps without a ban;
11. Display altitude according to SRTM;
12. API for SatMap control;
13. Navigation mode with GPS-receiver;
14. Work with the database of geographic names of objects GNS;
15. Custom tools;
16. Uploading of tiles by track only (selectable corridor width in meters or tiles).
